What you need to know about Joe Biden’s visit to Syracuse University

1. Doors to Goldstein Auditorium will open at 9:30 a.m. The event in which Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak at will begin around 11:45 a.m.

2. Having a ticket does not guarantee admission. Space for the event is limited.

3. All attendees will be required to undergo “airport-like security” and should bring as few personal items as possible to the event, according to an SU News release. A bag and coat check will be available for attendees.

5. Biden is scheduled to talk about sexual assault prevention to promote the White House’s “It’s On Us” public awareness campaign. He will make stops at three other colleges next week as part of the “It’s On Us” National Week of Action.
