Class of 2016 offensive lineman Noel Brouse has decommitted from Syracuse because of “coaching changes,” he tweeted Monday morning. Brouse is the fourth player to decommit from SU since the hiring of head coach Dino Babers less than two weeks ago.

Syracuse’s 2016 class is now down to 13 players and three offensive linemen — Sam Heckel, Cam DeGeorge and Airon Servais. Under Scott Shafer, the Orange only had three offensive line spots available in the class.

After Servais committed on Tuesday, SU exceeded that number. As of Thursday, Brouse said he spoke with co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Mike Lynch, who told him his scholarship would be honored, though the new coaching staff never did an in-home visit.

Brouse, 6 feet, 6 inches and 255 pounds, is ranked with three stars and as the 158th best offensive tackle in the Class of 2016. The Parkland (Pennsylvania) High School prospect has seven other offers from Colgate, Bucknell and Yale, among others, but none from any other Power 5 schools.
