Both the men's and women's teams face opponents they have previously beat this season
The Syracuse men’s and women’s lacrosse teams are heading into the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament this weekend. The No. 4-seeded women’s team (14-3, 5-2 ACC) plays Virginia (12-5, 3-4) on Wednesday at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Earlier in the year, the Orange beat the Cavaliers, 16-11, in the Carrier Dome.
The men’s team (9-3, 2-2) will face North Carolina (7-6, 1-3) on Thursday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, as the fourth-ranked team in the tournament. Previously this season, SU beat the Tar Heels 12-9.
