Gabriel Planty, Caroline Kirby named ACC Performers of the Week

SU’s Gabriel Planty and Caroline Kirby were named the men and woman ACC Performers of the Week on Tuesday.
Planty is coming off of a strong showing at the John Reif Memorial, where he finished fourth overall. The only other time Planty finished in the top 10 this season was at the Harry Lang Invitational in September.
On the women’s side, Kirby placed second at the John Reif Memorial. The finish marked her second top-10 result of the season after she came in sixth at the Harry Lang Invitational.
Syracuse will look to carry its momentum from the John Reif Memorial when it travels south to Florida for the ACC Championships on Friday, Oct. 27.
